This page summarizes Vectra licensing in plain language. Vectra is distributed under the LaTeX Project Public License, version 1.3c or any later version. The complete LICENSE controls if this guide and the license ever differ.

Vectra is distributed under the LaTeX Project Public License, version 1.3c or any later version. You may use, study, modify, and distribute the template in accordance with the LPPL.

This work has the LPPL maintenance status maintained. The Current Maintainer is Yixuan Huang, and the official version is published at https://github.com/yixnhuang/vectra.

Generated Documents

CVs, resumes, and other documents generated with Vectra belong to their respective authors. Using Vectra to produce a document does not, by itself, require that document to:

  • use the LPPL;
  • display a Vectra notice or watermark;
  • cite Vectra or Yixuan Huang; or
  • publish its source.

Attribution is appreciated when discussing or recommending the template, but it is not required inside a generated document.

Modified Versions

Modified and redistributed template versions must follow the LPPL. In particular, they must clearly identify their changes and avoid presenting themselves as the official Vectra release. The Vectra name and project branding identify the version maintained in the official repository.

Contributions

Contributions submitted to the official repository are made available under the repository's existing LPPL terms. For substantial changes, open an issue before preparing a pull request so the design direction can be discussed first. See CONTRIBUTING.md before opening a pull request.

Citation

Citation is welcome but never required inside a generated document. The repository includes a CITATION.cff, so GitHub's Cite this repository button produces a formatted entry.

Third-Party Materials

Third-party fonts, icons, images, packages, and other materials are governed by their respective licenses. The Vectra license applies only to material for which the project has the right to grant that license.
